Idea

Aimee Health is bringing together the most important components to your health: foods/supplements, nutritional protocols, and health professionals. Using a photograph of your food, Aimee calculates up to 132 nutrients, compares intake against customizable science-based goals, provides comprehensive risk analysis, and solutions including a physician-grade supplement subscription service and food recommendations with the biggest impact.

Market

Annually in the US, $1.1 trillion is spent on the top chronic diseases, and $39 billion on supplements. Our market is focused on Health Practitioners, providing our platform and mobile app for them to prescribe to their patients. Our platform provides Practitioners the ability to have customized, deeper, and ongoing relationships with their patients, automating the laborious process of acquiring dietary information and it's analysis, and providing preset and customizable dietary protocols for them to implement. We also provide them monetization options through our supplement subscription service.

Problem or Opportunity

Despite a motivated population in the US trying to be healthy, 50% of which takes a daily supplement, and about 500,000 nutrition articles in PubMed, we're not healthy.

This year, 450,000 people will die prematurely from preventable chronic diseases. 30 million people have TypeII diabetes, and another 100 million people are prediabetic. 130 million people have 2 or more chronic diseases.

We're eating the wrong foods and taking the wrong supplements because the science isn't actionable.

Solution (product or service)

We simplify the process of becoming healthy beginning with a photograph of your food, translating that to up to 132 nutrients, comparing nutrient intake against customizable science-based goals, performing a comprehensive risk analysis across your whole body, and providing actionable steps to reduce risk including use of our physician-grade supplement subscription service and food recommendations with the greatest impact. Supplements come in a 30-day supply of presorted individual day packs.

Competitors

Competitors include personalized supplement companies who lack food tracking, and tracking companies who lack supplements or other ways to address risks they identify. We include both.

Advantages or differentiators

Providing personalized supplementation based on diet helps avoid over supplementation which can cause health problems and deficiencies of other nutrients. Too much calcium prevents magnesium uptake. Too much vitamin D or too little both cause bone loss.

We're the only company in the US providing personalized supplementation based on diet, the most important determinant of health.

Finance

Average order value is $100, operating at a 50% margin. We project upwards of $20-40 million top line revenue within 3 years. and $40-80 million within 5 years. Typical gross profit per order is $30-50/User/month.

Business model

For Health Practitioners, we provide a combination of licensing model ($50-100 /seat/month) and revenue sharing from supplement sales.
