Idea

The concept of our device is by increasing one’s size or volume to such a point it is possible to keep a skier/snowboarder/mountaineer on the surface of an avalanche. We went to the foremost experts – in Davos Switzerland where the device was tested successfully. With such an important discovery our founders felt compelled to bring this invention to the light and insure it was available for those who might need it.

Current Status

The product is developed and units are currently being sold. Since we just started selling, there have been 8 units purchased so far. In the process of building out our channel model.

Market

The global snowboard equipment market is expected to reach USD 352.01 Billion by 2023. While not all boarders are in our target market, 10% are dedicated back country riders. Adding in mountaineering, snowmobiling, skiing, etc. then we get a very large TAM of $20B and quickly growing.

Problem or Opportunity

Lack of proper and sophisticated gear on market provides a huge opportunity for a safer solution, specifically protecting the neck against blunt force trauma while keeping the user at the top of the avalanche.

Our device- best in class mountaineering safety gear- increases one’s size or volume to such a point it is possible to keep askier/snowboarder/mountaineer on the surface of an avalanche. We went to the foremost experts – in Davos Switzerland where the device was tested successfully. With such an important discovery our founders felt compelled to bring this invention to light and insure it was available for explorers everywhere

Advantages or differentiators

Not in backpack, better neck protection as mentioned above. Proven results with the Swiss Institute of Avalanche Study, top of class.

Finance

MSRP is $799, our cost is roughly half of this so margins are healthy. We are already selling product and expect to grow drastically soon.

Business model

manufacture our devices, sell via different channels (online and offline with influencers, partners, etc) for healthy revenue and margins.
