Breathing.ai improves users heart rate and breathing patterns by integrating biometric feedback data to inform the adaptive design of screens. Initially, a screens colors, fonts, and shapes. Measurable reduction of stress levels for the hours users spend on a screen.

Our initial studies have shown that randomly chosen colors and fonts induce different measurable responses from the body ranging from calming to accelerating the heart rate. Further, the colors and fonts that lowered their heart rate were, in fact, the fonts that they “liked” the most.

Today, the average adult (18+) spends over 11 hours on device screens daily [source]. Similarly, teenagers (13-18 year olds) are spending on average 9 hours a day on entertainment media while (8-12 year olds) are spending about 6 hours a day on devices [source].

One Size Doesn't Fit All
Websites and applications offer a one-size fits all approach to their front-end design. In today’s market, there aren’t personalized solutions that use deep learning to adapt a user’s screen to their physiological state. Instead, customers need to go out of their way to download applications and decide which settings they believe they work best for them.
