Forcz, Inc. was founded in California 2017 with one goal in mind - to recreate a virtual reality experience without the use of goggles for existing 3D/Virtual contents across various platforms to reach a wide audience. We achieve the mission by our patented high-resolution motion tracking with anti-earth rotation detection, spatial edge detection and voice-to-key mapping technologies. Our motion tracking can apply to VR/AR, PC, gaming, industrial/medical/military, drone or robotic and etc. Our motion tracking controller and voice control USB dongle is consumer ready level product after 5 generations of prototyping.
There are two markets. One market is VR/AR contents with goggles. Another market is 3D/2D contents controlled by gesture, keyboard, mouse and gamepad. We focus overlapping area where we can use motion tracking to recreate virtual reality experience for 3D and VR contents without use of goggles. Great opportunity by entering 3D/VR/AR industry in early stage now. Huge growth of market size from $20B to $200B in next 3 years. Our high resolution motion tracking consumer products and IP licensing will see rapid growth in revenue too.
Problem or Opportunity
Fully interactive virtual contents in VR/AR platforms such as Oculus, VIVE, Magic Leap and HoloLens require expensive goggles with complex hardware. Their motion tracking controller has low resolution of 1-2.5mm for dynamic movement, which only allow rough and non-precise manipulation of virtual object movements, not suitable for the industrial/medical/military VR/AR application. The Motion tracking controller is platform specific. 3D contents in PC are in 2k or 4K high resolution. Most of motion tracking controller are not suitable in navigating 3D contents
Solution (product or service)
we provide high precision motion tracker with 0.2mm motion tracking resolution based on our patented Anti-Earth Rotation Detection. We call it “4K SpatialField”. Consumer can navigate in 360 degree virtual/3D space with immersive experience by our patented Spatial Edge Detection without use of goggles. Our Plug and Play USB dongle with our patented Voice-To-Key Mapping to allow motion tracker to be used across various platforms and applications for existing virtual and 3D contents.
Oculus and Magic Leap are two biggest platforms which might enter our space. However, we have patented our high precision motion tracking and Voice-To-Key Mapping technologies
Our indirect competitors include Kai Vicara, Razer Hydra, and Sixense STEM. They provide low resolution tracking control with no spatial edge detection, no anti-earth rotation detection and no voice-to-key mapping, which limits their users to a 2D experience and only PC platform.
Advantages or differentiators
There are three differentiators, compared to existing motion tracking used Oculus, Magic Leaps, HTC VIVE, Nintendo Switch and etc.
1. Voice-to-control-key mapping
To make motion tracking become platform agnostic, we use voice control technology to trigger our USB dongle to shift HID control interface between keyboard, mouse, gamepad and joystick. And also do instant reload of control key mapping for different applications.
2. Spatial Edge detection
In order to control virtual or 3D contents without goggles, we enable our motion tracking to detect edge of 110 degree field of view (FOV) such that consumer does not need to turn head over their shoulder to see 360 degree virtual world.
3. High precision motion tracking for 2K or 3K pixel resolution.
Existing motion tracking lack of high precision to control virtual contents in 2K or 4K resolution due to drifting and magnetic field fluctuation problem. We develop anti-earth rotation detection to remove drift and magnetic field fluctuation. Now our motion tracking can detect 0.2mm dynamic movement. Suitable to control for 2K or 4K virtual contents
Our voice control USB dongle is selling at $60 while motion tracking controller is selling at $90.
