Platform is based on problem-oriented languages for describing the required behavior of the aircraft instead of conventional programming. These languages are efficient for avionics certification, reducing cost and time to market for the entire project. Problem or Opportunity
Today dozens of the companies are working on creating electrically powered flying vehicles of the future (eVTOLs). Progress of there vehicles is tightly connected with fly-by-wire and autonomous technologies. A problem arises when company tries to certify its eVTOLs avionics according to DO-178 DO-254 requirements for safety. The process of certification is people and paper-intensive, and taking years acting as a barrier to new technologies gets to a wide market.
Solution (product or service)
We developed a platform that is based on very efficient problem-oriented languages to describe expected behavior and algorithms of the eVTOL flight control solution. These languages represent a single point of truth of the algorithm description. A vast amount of manual paperwork is replaced by generating requirements, reports, documents, representations of the information which is required by the regulating and certification organization. Our technology is a real enabler for going through the complexity of creating a flight control solution with DO-178 highest class A hazard level.
